POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Visiting Instructor, Kinesiology and Community Health
The Department of Kinesiology and Community Health is searching for an outstanding candidate for a Visiting Instructor position in Kinesiology and Community Health. The position is defined as Visiting Instructor, appointment renewable annually for up to three years. The preferred start date is August 16, 2011.
Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a related field preferred, master’s degree required. Background and experience teaching undergraduate Kinesiology at the university level preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of Kinesiology undergraduate courses including but not limited to motor control, motor development, and activity courses.
Salary is competitive; based on qualifications and experience; 9-month academic year contract.
Opportunities for summer teaching available.
